B♭ Clarinet Reeds — Regular Cut
B♭ RC reeds have a classic, French-style filing. These reeds are made on a segment of 3.2mm, rectified to 2.8mm. This leaves the scraping in the most vibrant area of the reed and produces a very brilliant sound.
The material is aged for at least 3 years before manufacture.
Its shallow shoulders have a closed half-moon shape, which helps maintain the tuning despite being an extremely flexible and spontaneous cane.

B♭ Clarinet Reeds — Box of 10
GD reeds are made from cane with a classic French cut, using a thicker blank and larger diameter material than standard clarinet reeds (the material normally used to make alto saxophone reeds). This gives a much deeper sound. They are the first Gonzalez reeds with a filed cut.
The reed has a longer scraping area and more wood in the heel, making it a more vibrant and long-lasting reed.

B♭ Clarinet Reeds — "For Our Friends", Box of 10
"For Our Friends" (FOF) was made for clarinetists who need a reed with a darker sound, following an American cut. These reeds have thicker wood in the heart, so they require more time to become stable.
This premium-quality cane is made on a segment of 3.6mm, rectified to 3.18mm, leaving the scraping in a denser area of the reed, which results in a darker sound. The material is aged for at least 4 years before manufacture.
Because of its deeply carved shoulders, the reed is completely free in the bass register, where it vibrates like no other, while a heart of higher density allows attacking the high notes with ease and refinement.
