The body is made with a synthetic material which closely resembles the density of grenadilla with the tone being not noticeably different from the “Premiere” model oboe, the body size, bore and keywork being identical in both.

Unlike synthetic or plastic oboes which oboists have been familiar in the past, the bore of this oboe is “turned” and not molded, which allows this oboe to have the same acoustic properties as a wooden professional model oboe. 

Under cut tone holes, extra light and strong nickel silver keywork, silver platedto 30 microns, stainless steel screws.
